What are the assessments for this course?

Throughout the course there will be small theory, practical assessments and tasks to ensure confidence in your understanding. There will also be a final assessment comprising theory, practical and a program submission, guaranteeing you can teach with a great level of knowledge and confidence when you graduate!

Can I do my observation and teaching hours online? 

Yes, some hours may completed online but some should be completed face-to-face. We can help connect you to a studio near you for these hours.

Do I need to participate in all face to face course hours?

Yes 100% attendance is required for you to graduate from this course. However, if you miss a weeked Please let us know if you need to miss a weekend or if something comes up and you cannot attend. Please note though you must organise a separate 1:1 make-up session with a trainer, which will incur extra fees. This is to make sure you don’t miss any special teaching concepts

What If I want to do Mat and Reformer together?

Bundles are a great option, they are cost and time effective for a more comprehensive training. You can tailor the timing of your second course to suit your needs, as long as it starts within one year of the first.

Are there payment plans available for the courses?

Yes, we want to make sure all people have the ability to enjoy the career of Pilates. Please let us know and we can set up your payment plan on enrolment. Please note your payments must be finalised prior to receiving your final certificate.

Is Pilates teaching worth it?

YES! Teaching Pilates is an incredibly rewarding job that makes such a positive impact of both individuals and large populations. It is guaranteed to lead to good personal and economic reward. There are so many career prospects for Pilates instructors, and we’ll help you discover these during the course.

How much money can you expect to make as an Instructor?

Pilates is an ever changing economic landscape. Hourly rate for a Pilates instructor usually ranges between $40-$100 per hour (plus super) depending on qualifications, experience and employment setting. In a studio setting you could expect to make approx $50 per hour initially.

     FAQ - Bridging Course 

Do I still need to do observation and mastery hours like my other qualification?

Yes, however if you are already Reformer qualified and teaching, you may use your paid hours teaching towards your practice teaching hours. You still need to complete observation and self-mastery hours to graduate with our certificate, it is requirement of national certification. 

Why is this course shorter?

This course has less face to face sessions because we won’t need to spend as much time learning basic information. Most of us will have an understanding on how to program, cue and navigate the professional space. Therefore we go faster through these basic topics and even get to dive deeper into new advanced knowledge.
